More Awards for Gisler Display – 11 October 2007
The 2007 Marketing at Retail Expo held at the Royal Exhibition Building in Melbourne from 10-11 October, can be seen as the most successful yet for Gisler Display.
The show which opened on Wednesday once again proved to be a great staging platform for Gisler Display to showcase their design and manufacturing prowess.
The Gisler Display area was one of the highlights of the exhibition, using a blend of clean and stylish designs expressed in a range of materials such as metal, timber and acrylics.
By using their own semi transparent acrylic walls, Gisler contributed to the adjacent Awards area having a much more open feel to it.
Several display manufacturing companies and their clients attended the awards dinner on Wednesday evening, where cricket legend Max Walker (MC) added his blend of charm
to the festivities. The industry was sad to hear Tom Harris, CEO of POPAI Australia/NZ, announce that his competent assistant Vanessa Lindsay would be leaving POPAI as she would
be relocating to Canberra.

At the end of the evening Gisler Display was the proud owner of three new POPAI awards for the following entries:
Carla Venicci Carpet Display - Gold 2007 Technical Award
Century Yuasa Battery Display - Silver (Automotive Dealers/Aftermarket)
Fosters Yellowglen Sparkling Display - Bronze (Liquor Retailers On and Off Premise)
"The show helped us to further entrench our brand as a leader in the design and manufacturing of premium display solutions.
We are extremely pleased that both our exhibition display area and the three awards received testify to this fact. As always the proof is in the pudding..."
said Pieter Marais, design engineer for Gisler Display.
