 Where clients have an idea for a new product but haven’t formalised the actual design parameters, the designers at Gisler are happy to discuss and brainstorm the concepts with our clients, opening broad lines of communication and giving our clients the benefit of years of experience within the industry. By setting objectives for the design based on market research and current and future consumer trends, we can help clients hit the ‘sweet-spot’ when their product is released into the marketplace. A number of rendering tools are used, in conjunction with Adobe’s graphics suites, to generate conceptual renders and exploded views of the design. During the design phase our designers use software tools such as PTC’s Pro/Engineer and AutoCAD for structural, assembly and surfacing design. These design tools, combined with years of experience enable Gisler to get a working prototype that meets the design objectives, usually within the first 2 prototype iterations. Gisler’s dedicated manufacturing staff are expertly equipped to take the prototype to full scale manufacturing almost immediately after sign-off, enabling clients to get their products into stores in a timely manner. |
